WP: I’m inspired by how transformative fitness can be in so many areas of life, including my own. It’s not just about improving health and wellness; it also shows us the importance of consistency, motivation and commitment. I feel lucky to be part of helping people live happier, more active lives. Seeing their progress and the positive changes they experience is incredibly rewarding. It’s amazing to support others as they work towards their goals and enjoy a better quality of life.

Leari Lifestyles: How do you maintain your personal motivation and energy levels as a coach?

AS: I put systems and processes into place that allow me to tap into that energy and also have created an environment in my personal life and workspace that consistently keeps me motivated and disciplined, therefore always leaving in constant hunger for pursuing greater things and achieving greater heights.

Leari Lifestyles: What are some unique challenges you’ve faced as a fitness coach and how have you overcome them?

WB: As a coach in the F45 mark we deal with a very diverse set of clients and some come with challenges in regards to past injuries or chronic conditions, so adapting to every client to ensure they get the best workout they possibly can certainly keeps me on my toes and gives me a new challenge every single day.

WP: F45 gives us coaches the chance to keep learning by taking courses and certifications that help us grow our knowledge. Social media is a great way to connect with other coaches and stay updated on what’s happening in the fitness world. Following fitness influencers and experts gives us new ideas and fresh insights. lastly, trying out new workouts or techniques ourselves helps us understand what works and what doesn’t.

WB: The biggest diversity we face daily is personality-based it is important to know when to be strict, motivating or sympathetic with different clients to better understand what drives them and connects with them the best.

Leari Lifestyles: How do you foster a sense of community among your members at the studio?

WP: A big part of life at F45 is the focus on community, The studio thrives on teamwork, with partner workouts and team challenges encouraging members to support each other and build friendships that go beyond the gym. Social events like group runs and challenge groups help strengthen these connections, making everyone feel comfortable and part of the family.

By getting to know each member and understanding their goals and challenges, we create a welcoming space where everyone feels valued. We also use social media groups to keep the conversation going, allowing members to share their progress and cheer each other on outside of class.

Remembering names and personal goals helps create a friendly atmosphere. We ensure workouts are inclusive, so everyone feels comfortable and capable, no matter their fitness level. Lastly, we encourage feedback, so members feel involved in shaping the studio’s direction

Leari Lifestyles: What strategies do you use to keep your training sessions engaging and effective?

AS: Identifying each individual’s needs strengths and weaknesses, by using that opportunity to educate, correct and improve each individual. This process makes helping people achieve their goals easier and more effective, simply because you now have the insight and knowledge on which sessions target those areas very well and engage the athlete best. We also have a great and encouraging community and F45 that allows people to feel at home.

Leari Lifestyles: How do you define success for your clients and yourself?

WB: Success comes into perspective with each individual depending on your goals your idea of success could be physical or mental, however for me, my success is being confident in my choices and the advice I give as well as being content with the results and achievements that come with that, and seeing new areas to improve in.
