By From Johannesburg to Stellenbosch to Cape Town, Under Armour hit the ground running this season. Across November and December, Under Armour partnered with some of the top running clubs in the country to put the Velociti Elite 3, Pro and SPD to the test with a series of high-energy demo runs.
Spanning five events, the series was a direct invitation to runners to feel the tech underfoot and push the pace in real-world conditions. From club runs in the city to the buzz of race day, Under Armour brought the gear to the people—and the people ran with it.
Five Routes. One Community.
Each run brought out a mix of club regulars, new faces, media, and scene shapers, all united by the drive to move with purpose. The series kicked off in Johannesburg in collaboration with Running to Coffee for a 5K. The energy then traveled to Stellenbosch before heading into Cape Town with a third Running to Coffee 5K run along the Devil’s Peak hiking trail.
Next, Under Armour stepped into the race spotlight at the Metropolitan 10K, where select runners tried Velociti footwear on the big stage for a chance to see how the shoes performed when it really counted. As the series neared its close, Under Armour returned to Joburg for a final 5K club run with Pirates Club, ending the year with a rainy 5K send-off.
