SAIBPP APPOINTMENTS NEW PRESIDENT – MS FUNDI MAZIBUKO

The South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP) proudly embraces and commemorates the appointment of Ms. Fundi Mazibuko as the newly elected President, embarking on a distinguished two-year tenure within the organization. The official inauguration of Ms. Mazibuko as the President of SAIBPP transpired at the esteemed 2023 SAIBPP Annual Convention, which unfolded from the 2nd to the 3rd of August 2023 at the esteemed Wanderers Club.

Preceding her presidency, Ms. Mazibuko commendably served as the Vice-President of SAIBPP from 2021 to 2023, a role she held in tandem with Mr. Sylvester Martin, the immediate past President. Drawing from her extensive engagement within the South African property sector, Ms. Mazibuko has made invaluable contributions to the establishment and progression of the SAIBPP Women’s Forum, an initiative dedicated to amplifying access to opportunities within the sector for black women.

Ms. Mazibuko’s journey within the property industry commenced as a trainee at Motseng Property Services, subsequently traversing through roles at the Joburg Property Company where she held the position of Executive Assistant to the COO. Her final corporate position was as an executive director at Excellerate Property Services. Evidencing her fervent commitment to the industry, she actively participated as an Executive member of the Women’s Property Network, and further extended her impact by serving on the Property Charter Council as well as the SAPOA conference committee. She has also garnered the distinction of being recognized as an Accredited Facilities Professional through SAFMA. Currently, she serves a member in the Services Seta, Real Estate and Related Services Chamber.

Beyond her corporate pursuits, Ms. Mazibuko has manifested entrepreneurial skills, boasting a wealth of experience from both corporate and public sectors. As a co-owner of Fullserve Services, a reputable facilities service provider, she exemplifies a multifaceted engagement with business endeavors. Ms. Mazibuko’s academic qualifications include an MBA from the esteemed Henley Business School, a Management Advance Programme from Wits University, and a specialization in Property Management from Pretoria University.

Addressing the audience at the inaugural dinner at the Annual Convention, Ms. Mazibuko expressed her resolute commitment to a presidency marked not merely by novel and unattainable concepts, but by pragmatic actions that will bolster SAIBPP’s trajectory of growth and augment its impactful presence within the sector. As we anticipate her leadership over her term, we extend our utmost well-wishes for her journey alongside the organization.
